BCEGI NZ starts the urban regeneration journey in Auckland!

In August 2019, the OVERLEA Project,one of the Tamaki Regeneration Project in Auckland has  officially started onsite by BCEGI New Zealand Co. Limited (BCEGI NZ). The hardworking management team of the project have conquered various of difficulties and actively solved problems to break the ground successfully.

Beware of the Overland Flow Path,
bring the high standards to the project.

It was found that the planning details of Overland Flow Path on the OVERLEA project site recorded by Auckland Council was different from the information provided by the land owners, after the project agreement was signed and during the approval of Resource Consent submitted to Auckland  Council.

An immediate response was made by the BCEGI NZ project management team rapidly. Corresponding modifications to the design of houses related to the overland flow path were arranged to meet the requirements of Auckland Council.  Meanwhile, the project principal accepted the change of the project schedule due to the information deviation at early stage.

Adapt changes with careful calculation & strict budgeting,
achieve successful presales in Autumn.

In July 2019, the revised design proposal was approved by Auckland Council and the Resource Consent and Building Consent were granted. Accordingly, a full range of preparations was got ready by our construction management team. They negotiated with the subcontractors based on the updated design proposal to determine a guaranteed maximum price, to control construction costs on the premise of ensuring the project profit.

In August 2019, the OVERLEA regeneration project has started onsite successfully.





In STAGE 5, which is currently under construction, includes 16% social affordable housing has been repurchased by the New Zealand government; also the rest 84% housing has been put on to the market for presale after the new design proposal was granted with a Building Consent. Buyers come from different regions of New Zealand, and the presale rate of commercial housing reached to 80% in the first month. STAGE 5 is expected to be delivered and completed by the end of the first half of 2020. The buyers who have completed the procedure of presale are able to settledown, enjoy these snug, comfortable and warm houses in the Autumn of New Zealand.
